ANDREW MARTINEAU

Andrew Martineau is the author of When Shadows Fill Your Room and Daddy Monster, available through Mirror Publishing. He has written and produced many plays, including Equity productions, in New York, Washington, D.C. and in Virginia. His published play Functions (Green Room Press) has been performed by many high school theatre groups across the U.S. and in South Korea. His play Etched in Stone (Green Room Press) won “Best New Play” at the Northern Virginia One-Act Festival and Watermelon One-Act Festival in St. Mary's City, Maryland. A monologue from The Lacemakers is published in InterJACtions III (JAC Promotions & Publications). He once started his own theatre company that focused on issues of disability, and he used to act professionally. He has a B.F.A. in theatre education and two Master’s degrees in English and education. Andrew is a member of The Dramatists Guild.
